The first of the Xbox 360’s exclusive downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV has been named and dated. And about time too!

‘The Lost and the Damned’, as the first DLC is snappily titled, is finally heading to Xbox LIVE Marketplace on February 17th and follows the exploits of a certain Johnny Klebitz, a member of the notorious Liberty City Biker gang, The Lost.

"Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background," Rockstar’s Dan Houser tells USA Today. "I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

And that’s all that’s known at the present time - no price, size, screens or storyline details are proffered, annoyingly. We do know that players will need a full copy of GTAIV and, obviously, an Xbox LIVE membership in order to enjoy the DLC. Doubtless it’ll be 18 rated like its parent too. Either way, consider us well and truly tantalised until Rockstar deigns to release more information. They do like to tease, so perhaps it's best not to hold your breath...
