The Xbox 360 ‘Deal of the Week’ initiative has not quite achieved its intended profile - maybe that’s because the very best is yet to come? All the same, it’s nice to get a chunk of points knocked of a few old faves, and this week’s offering is an absolute stonker...

Seven ‘PDA’ minigames too, along with online multiplayer support, live leaderboards, 12 Achievements and 200 of those all-important Gamerscore points. 400 MS Points have been lopped off the RRP for this beauty, meaning the new price is just, er, 400 MS Points. That‘s a piffling £3.40 - a galactic barg in any language!

There’s a treat if you already own Alien Hominid too, and it won’t cost you an extra penny. Just load up the game, earn yourself at least one Achievement and you’ll be able to unlock the cuddlesome Alien character in Xbox LIVE Arcade’s official Game of the Year, the brilliant Castle Crashers - also from The Behemoth. No price promo on this hack n’ slasher, alas, then again there aren‘t many better ways to spend 1200 MS Points. Check it.
