Nintendo’s online service delivers “A Little Bit of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: Sudoku” to DSi consoles this weekend, plus more download curiosities. The Nintendo online outlets are winding down the Japanese fireworks festivities this weekend with a couple of Virtual Console classics and some original WiiWare and DSiWare software to download on their respective consoles. Alongside TurboGrafx and Super NES rarities “DETANA TWIN BEE” (700 Wii Points) and “Kirby's Dream Land 3” (900 Wii Points) to play on your Wii, there’s a tantalising new DSiWare addition “A Little Bit of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: Sudoku” to download onto your new-fangled DSi console. The download-only “Kawashima’s…” title costs only 500 DSi Points, and combines the popular Brain Age theme with the equally ubiquitous Sudoku puzzle game. You’ll get more than 100 Sudoku challenges for your points, and it’s easy to play thanks to the game’s in-built handwriting recognition. Meanwhile on WiiWare there’s “ColorZ” (700 Wii Points) and “Heracles Chariot Racing” (800 Wii Points); a psychedelic multi-player puzzle adventure, and mythological multiplayer racer respectively. All of the above will be available from tomorrow, 24 July.
