Warner Brothers enlists the Lego Star Wars guys to bring the famous book to Nintendo Wii and DS in autumn.

No mention of how much dedication is required to participate, and surely Roy Castle would have had something to say about this, but the Guinness World Records is now a videogame. Or it will be this autumn.

Brits will know this better as the Guinness Book of Records, famous for its photos of very small people, very tall people, people with incredibly long fingernails that curl like Quavers, and the lead singer of Manowar shouting very loudly.

British based development team, TT Games, are at the helm for the Wii and DS videogame being published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. You too can grow long fingernails, and eat a jumbo jet thanks to a series of mini-games designed for all the family. There are both solo attempts and team efforts on offer.

If you play this thing for 100 hours straight you might end up in the book yourself. Of course we don’t recommend that you try, as even the exacting Norris McWhirter would probably look more worried than impressed.
