Three more reasons to love the 360 [X360]

Microsoft announces three new additions to its budget-priced ‘Classics’ range. And they’re all entirely irresistible.

You need proof? How about Halo 3 for the frankly unbelievable price of 19.99 British Pounds? Thought that would get your attention…

Halo 3 still tops the Xbox LIVE most-played chart, for reasons almost too numerous to list, and it’s certainly the finest of the three game’s joining the Classics party from March 20th. The other two are no scruffs, though - ace racer Project Gotham 4 and galaxy-spanning space opera Mass Effect. Again, £19.99 a pop. Yep, we’ll have some of that.

“We are delighted to add three of our finest titles to the Classics range, adding to the exceptional entertainment offering available on the Xbox 360 at outstanding prices,” says Xbox Europe VP of marketing, David Gosen, who then goes on to casually reveal that the 360 has just cracked the eight million sales mark in Europe.

Well, gosh!
