Something for the weekend? [X360]

Friday July 10, 5:23 PM Something for the weekend?

The best game released this week has to be Battlefield 1943 – hands-down and notwithstanding any occasional bouts of server overload. However, if you absolutely have to head to the high street this weekend there’s an offer you should think twice about before refusing...

Let’s put it to you as straight as we can – it’s the genetically-mutated shooter Bioshock and epic adventure The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, together in one crazy, they-must-be-cutting-their-own-throats bargain bundle. How good is that?

Answer: Plenty – both games have scooped more than 80 well-deserved industry awards between them. Bioshock quite literally drips quality throughout and Oblivion is an RPG on an unheralded scale with lush visuals, limitless character customisation and, of course, golden horse armour. Which reminds us, there’s tons of downloadable extras for each title too.

So how soon and how much? Er, that’ll be now and £19.99 on PC or £29.99 for the Xbox 360 version. Shweet!
