We’re not bored of GTAIV yet – no way!. In fact the more you play the more there is to play, if you follow us. It’s staggering stuff, and the game truly deserves a third spin at the top of the all formats/full price chart.

And GTAIV has managed the three-peat in spite of a further 41% drop in sales from last week – and last week’s sales represented a 77% drop on the week before. It all points to one conclusion – that every other game on this week’s chart is precisely nowhere in comparison.

Speaking of nowhere, where, we wonder, are all these copies of Wii Fit coming from? And in sufficient quantities to keep the game at number two too? It’s a real head-scratcher considering that the game is all-but invisible, actually, totally invisible on retail shelves. If you see copies in free supply do tell us.

Okay, the rest of the all formats/full prices top ten is the usual tweaked version of its immediate predecessor. The only slight difference to last week’s countdown being the re-ascendance of the utterly splendid Mario Kart Wii to this week’s three and the worrying appearance of High School Musical 2: Work This Out! at ten. It’s an apt subtitle since that’s exactly what we’re trying to do.

Other than that it’s a slight disappointment to see that Spielberg’s Boom Blox didn’t quite make the cut, entering the top forty at 12. Had it been a tenner cheaper and a little better looking it coulda been a contender. Gameplay-wise it can certainly hold its own with the big boys/and girls of the top ten. Maybe next week.
