GoldenEye sequel incoming?

A CV from games animator Craig Peck indicates that a new GoldenEye game may be in the works for Wii. Well, that’d be nice, right?

Peck has many plaudits to his name, including his current stint as animator on Rockstar Games’ 40s-set detective ‘em up, L.A. Noire, which is in development at Team Bondi in Sydney, Australia. However, of more immediate interest is what he was up to at Eurocom just before he jumped ship and fled the country. As per his online résumé:

Eurocom Entertainment Software, Derby, United Kingdom
July 09 – Sept 09 Animator – GoldenEye 2010 (Wii)
Animator on Activision’s James Bond series for the Nintendo Wii

We’re keeping the salt cellar handy with this one, since it’s already known that Bizarre Creations – not Eurocom – is supposed to be working on the next Bond game for Activision. Then again Eurocom did handle the porting duties for the Wii version of Quantum of Solace, and GoldenEye remains the only Bond title that gets gamers all dewy-eyed and over-excited.

In other words this is all perfectly feasible, even if Peck probably wasn’t supposed to have said anything about it yet – the bad lad! We’ll keep an Eye on things and let you know what develops. Please let it all be true, though…
