Visitors to the Halo 3 'Ferry Wheel' at the Leipzig Games Convention have been treated to a sample of Neil Blomkampf’s forthcoming live-action Halo movie. Lucky them, you’re bound to utter. Well lucky you too, as some sneaky journo has captured the whole thing and it’s currently being broadcast all over the web. The footage is not actually from the Halo film itself. Instead, as we understand it, it’s a short piece intended to promote interest in the project. And that it most surely does – in proper war-is-hell shakeycam-style, just as if you’re there holding the camera and dodging the bullets. It’s only a couple of minutes long and that’ll certainly leave you wanting more, but the best quality footage we’ve found is at www.gamersyde.com/news_4853_en.html . Go check it out. The same sample movie will be available on Xbox Live shortly too, we’re told. Hold out for that if you want to see it in high definition.
