The official US Playstation blog has announced that a demo for ace oldskool brawler, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, is coming to the Playstation Network this week. It’s a platform exclusive too! So that’s one in the nether regions for Xbox 360 owners, isn’t it? They’ll just have to console themselves with the thought that the full game will be hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade later this summer. Meantime PS3 fight-fans will be getting an advanced taste of this former Dreamcast classic when the PSN updates at the end of the week. It’s a biggie too, featuring: - Two-player local matches Well, we say biggie, but the six characters in this sample are just a small proportion of the 56 available in the full game. Why so many? Because all matches, whether local or online, are played with three-on-three tag teams. Need we say any more than that? Didn’t think so...
- Six available characters – Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine
- Seven selectable environments
- Upscaled 1080p graphics
- Widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio
- Two graphic filter options for character sprites
