Good old Epic - they’ve only just launched Gears of War 2 and already they’re making good with the downloadable expansions. Joy to the world! The “Combustible” map pack has launched today and brings a trio of new multiplayer maps to the party - “Flood”, “Gold Rush” and “Fuel Station”. Here’s what’s in store according to Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson: “Flood features a rising flow of Imulsion that drives the fight into close quarters. Infiltrate an Imulsion factory in Gold Rush, where multiple levels and volatile materials guarantee memorable encounters. Fuel Station delivers a dangerous battle around an abandoned refuelling facility.” If all that’s whetted your appetite for destruction fire up Xbox LIVE immediately and prepare to part with 800 of your hard-earned MS Points (£6.80 in real money). Meantime those of you without the readies or who still need convincing should checketh the heck out of the FREE gameplay trailer that’s also been posted - hilariously narrated by the game‘s gruffest gear Augustus “Cole Train” Cole. Top stuff.
