The Nintendo Wii sequel to one of the best-selling and much loved games of all time makes the podium in first place. You wouldn't exactly have bet against it.

Nintendo’s Wii MotionPlus controller beats Harry Potter’s magic wand to secure top spot for Wii sports Resort in this week’s All Formats, Full Price charts. Enthusiasm for the Wii MotionPlus accessory has also maintained the position of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 in the table.

Otherwise, there’s nothing much to write home about. Mario Kart Wii is drafting behind the pack in 11th position, harrying EA Sports Active that’s proving to be yet another evergreen Wii title. Transformers has fallen, but could be set for revenge next week.
