Er, that’d be a definite no! from us. Then again we’re not exactly the target market for SingStar: Take That, which Sony has just announced.

You can probably guess what’s involved here – a trawl through the lads’ surprisingly capacious back catalogue, pre and post-Robbie, with such bona-fide crowd-pleasing smasheroos as Could it be Magic, Back for Good, Never Forget, Shine and many – sigh – many more.

SingStar: Take That is destined for PS2 and PS3 later this year. A standalone Song Pack is also scheduled for release this summer, boasting a fistful of tunes from the big game.

SingStar: Take That follows in the footsteps of previously released Queen and Abba special editions. A SingStar: Motown variant was also announced at E3 recently too. There’s still now news on that Napalm Death edition, though...
