A missed opportunity, we think – Ghostbusters: The Video Game on PSP has been given a release date and it’s not October 31st (i.e Halloween) but November 3rd. Oh well.

Clueless marketing decisions aside, this PSP rendition promises all the action of the big game but with features unique to the console. This includes the ability to swap between equipment sets and access to eight Proton Pack functions, among others. The familiar gadgets and gizmos are all intact, as are the voices of the original cast members. In short it’s a corker.

So that’s the last of Sony’s timed exclusives with the Ghostbusters franchise. The Wii, PC and (ahem, graphically superior) Xbox 360 versions are incoming November 11th. But rest assured it’s a sweet game which ever platform you play on.
