Blink and you might have missed Solid Snake’s turn at the top of the all format/full price charts. One week is all the old fella managed before being unceremoniously hoofed off the stairlift by fellow dodderer Indiana Jones – and we find that kind of surprising... Well, wasn’t Metal Gear Solid 4 supposed to be the PS3 game to end ‘em all? And haven’t teh internets been awash with stories about how mad-for-it the gaming world has been? Meanwhile Lego Indy’s rise to the top has happened without any such hype or hoo-hah. But let’s hear it for the little guy, and, note to Konami, we guess this all illustrates the benefits of releasing a game across all formats as opposed to just sticking with the one. Elsewhere this week’s countdown is looking just as healthy as last week’s, with the requisite amount of musical chairs and a trio of debutantes to drool over inappropriately – Top Spin 3 at ten, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII at eight and Alone in the Dark straight in at three. Hmm, seems that Atari needn’t have worried about all those horrid reviews after all, eh? Ours was one of the nicer ones, by the way. Anyway, here’s how the top ten looks for the week ending June 21: 1. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (2) Leisure software charts compiled by Chart Track, © 2008 ELSPA Ltd
