Note to self – don’t make plans to visit Liberty City any time soon. At least not if this lot are ruling the streets. Bad to the bone, the lot of ‘em. But aren’t we all just a little too ready to give rein to our darker fantasies through their nefarious mis-doings? If we were cleverer we’d probably make some kind of point about games such as this and what they say about us as individuals and as society at large. But forget that, eh, let’s just gorge ourselves on this sensory overload of tasty new screens instead! At which point it’s time to roll out the ‘x are like buses’ adage once again. Y’see you wait ages for new GTAIV screens to come along and then are veritably deluged with the buggers – not that we’re complaining, mind. There should be close to thirty new pics to gawp at today, providing that the Yahoo screenshot management system doesn’t fall over in the face of such quality. Either way the more we see it the more we want it, and April 29th it most certainly is, for us at least. And probably the Xbox 360 version of the game too, in view of the downloadable extra chapters in the pipeline. If this lot has tickled your gangsta fancies head over to rockstargames.com/IV for more pics, info and a bunch of cool new video snippets.
