Capcom's Nintendo Wii exclusive Action Adventure gets a release date and a few more details.

The two-player cooperative sci-fi fight-a-thon "Cyborgs" will arrive on Nintendo Wii from 25 September. It is being created from the ground-up by former Ratchet and Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man developers now operating together as Bionic Games. This is almost certainly leading toward puzzle-filled scenarios in which experimentation with a wide range of mad-cap weaponry is the key to success.

Cyborgs tells the tale of three 'cybernetically-enhanced' super duper heroes that have been hoodwinked by a former team member. That's about all the backstory you'll need for 35 levels featuring non-stop running and shooting at ultra-explosive enemies, interspersed with memorable boss battles. Players are encouraged to team up for best results, using their Wii remotes to waggle and wave the 'borgs into a battle frenzy. Some of the best moves in the game are only possible during co-op gameplay. And since all three members of the team have unique abilities a fair amount of puzzle solving will require switching between them at crucial stages.

Wii seems to be getting more than its fair share of quality action-ers this side of Christmas. We could be rummaging around the back of our wardrobe sooner than we think. New batteries over here!
