Word is out that Activision’s Call of Duty 3 will strike Xbox 360 first on 10 November with PS2, Xbox, Wii and PS3 versions to follow.

Xbox 360 is first in the pecking order for Call of Duty 3 next month. 10 November for you ’orrible lot, but don't get too cocky because the PlayStation 2 version isn’t far behind on the 24th. Ignore what you might have read today about the Xbox version – it hasn’t been canned, we can confirm, however Activision is sitting on the release date at the time of writing for reasons best known to themselves.

If you’re hoping to play COD3 on Wii, you’ll be able to buy it a week ahead of the console launch on 1 December. PlayStation 3 people, let’s think positive and expect this thing to arrive in March next year, eh!
