Single-player levels dubbed “Reborn” will arrive on 3 September for psycho first-person shooter F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

The third downloadable pack for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin arrives 3 September for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. “F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn” includes four all-new single-player levels, dovetailing with events in Project Origin. Scenarios take place in the aftermath of the Alma explosion in Auburn, only this time you’ll be stepping out as Replica Soldier Foxtrot813 who hears voices persuading him to act against official orders.

Don't do it!

Pricing for Reborn is TBC, but the demo will be available from 27 August. A free automatic update launched at the same time as Reborn will give everyone that owns F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin a new Slow-Mo Deathmatch mode to enjoy across their respective online networks via PS3 and Xbox 360.

PC gamers must wait until "a later date" to enjoy any of the above.

Ah, jeez.
