Activision has unveiled a new addition to the enduringly ace Call of Duty: Modern Warfare family. And this time it’s for DS! Modern Warfare: Mobilised, as it’s cleverly titled, promises a goodly slice of blasting action. The main single-player campaign follows a brand new storyline, presumably based around some horrible current conflict or other. Like, maybe, the ongoing battle against childhood obesity. Er... On top of that there are skirmishing laffs for up to six combatants via the magic of WiFi and a Survival mode where the attacks come thick, fast and in increasingly punishing waves. Finally the Arcade option challenges players to complete the main campaign against the clock and awards extra points for specific achievements. Brutal combat, cutting-edge weaponry and the chance to prat about in cool military vehicles are all present and correct, of course. November 10th is the date to diarise and developers n-Space are taking care of coding duties – that’s the same team behind the thoroughly decent DS version of Call of Duty: World at War. Enough said, we think.
