Jack White and Jimmy Page snarl at the popularity of fake guitars and drums. The royalties will soon be rolling in for Jack White, but this hasn’t stopped the legendary axe-man from tearing into Guitar Hero this week. We think it’s hilarious. This is what has been said, quoted by the NME: Jack White (White Stripes) Jack’s old band, The White Stripes, is newly added to the roster of Guitar Hero 5 that will be available in September. What a chump. Meanwhile Jimmy Page is back in the news grumbling about the likes of Rock Band and Guitar Hero. He made headlines last year because, unlike young Jack, the veteran performer refuses permission for Rock Band or Guitar Hero to feature the works of Led Zeppelin.
