Plenty to keep you busy in today’s PlayStation Store update, including a new quiz show, the Batman demo and, ooh, plenty more besides.

TV Show King for PS3 is, as the name suggests, a TV quiz-styled gameshow where players test their knowing stuff-related skills against friends, family, loose associates and others around the globe. Unique multiplayer modes and various subject categories are offered. £7.99/€9.99 is the asking price. How Sony is able to launch such promising fodder without any prior marketing effort is totally beyond us.

Next up Rag Doll Kung-Fu: Fists of Plastic (pictured) is based on the 2005 PC smash in which players pit amusingly loose-limbed martial artistes against one another. This PS3 outing is rather better looking and more fully fleshed out, though. It’s probably well worth the £7.99/€9.99 tag too. There’s a free trial if you feel the need to try before buying.

The other star of this week’s line-up is the free Batman: Arkham Asylum demo, which is also bound for Xbox 360. Things go awry as the Dark Knight attempts to re-incarcerate The Joker, who escapes his bonds and unleashes the Asylum’s lunatic inmates. Suffice to say that things get a bit messy thereafter. Check it out.
