Two new Xbox LIVE Arcade games released tomorrow, plus a chance to bolster your Fable II bank account from August after pre-ordering the game.

Fans of the original Fable will not be taking a gamble if they pre-order the Xbox 360 sequel due this autumn. In fact, anyone who pre-orders Fable II from participating retailers will receive a code to redeem against a set of Fable II Pub Games from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, released in August. The three casino style mini-games – Spinnerbox (fruit machine), Keystone (roulette), and Fortune’s Tower (black jack, kind of) – will earn you gold that’s good for buying weapons, armour, accommodation etc in the world of Fable II. Clever, eh? By the way these Pub Games will also be available to buy for 800MS points in August.

The news ties in with Microsoft announcing a limited edition collector’s version of Fable II, adding incentive to pre-order the game. It’ll be priced slightly higher than the standard retail edition but comes packaged with a behind-the-scenes bonus video, a Gold Membership Trial for Xbox LIVE to access additional in-game goodies, and a collectible figurine of a cave-dwelling ‘Hobbe’.

While we’ve got… your attention… Hey you! Yes, while we’ve got your attention we’d also like to remind you that it’s Xbox LIVE Wednesday tomorrow. This has nothing to do with free tickets to the cinema, rather that every week Microsoft releases one or two games for Xbox LIVE Arcade. Tomorrow it’s "Schizoid" and "Golf: Tee It Up!" for 800MS points apiece. Schizoid looks like a spaced out version of Combat for the old Atari 2600 – no shooting though, just ramming each other. Tee It Up is a ‘whacky’ golf game intended for family enjoyment with lots of silly costumes and special effects.
