The 2010 edition of Konami’s evergreen Pro Evolution Soccer franchise reckons to have pulled its socks up in order to face the ever-stiffening challenge presented by the FIFA franchise. To which end it’ll be interesting to get to grips with the PES 2010 demo which is downloadable tomorrow (17th September) on Xbox LIVE, the PlayStation Network and PC via the official site - http://www.konami-pes2010.com/.

The demo promises a decent chunk of the action too, showcasing the game’s Exhibition Mode by way of five minute matches versus a mate or the CPU and featuring Liverpool, Barcelona or any of the Spanish, Italian, French and German international sides.

Meanwhile PES 2010 is still on target to meet its October 23rd launch date – just three weeks after its rival. Game on, we think.
