A Lost Planet 2 demo is coming soon to Xbox LIVE, says Japan’s Famitsu.com.

How soon? Er, they don’t say. Our guess is it won’t be arriving too far in advance of the big game itself – it’s currently slated for the back-end of October.

Meantime it has been revealed that the demo will be the same as Capcom used to wow the assembled hordes at the recent E3 games show. And that’s quadruply excellent news, since it means the demo will support the much-vaunted four-player co-op mode.

It’s not yet known whether computer-controlled bots will be drafted in so that solo gamers can enjoy the four-player fun too. But fingers crossed, and all that. Here’s hoping Capcom makes with the hot four-player demo action sooner rather than much later too. We’ll let you know when it’s imminent...
