Charts: Oh, What A Lovely War! [X360]

Tuesday December 9, 07:55 AM Charts: Oh, What A Lovely War!

Four weeks and an impressive one million UK sales since launch and Call of Duty: World at War is still top of the all formats/full price charts. If this doesn’t now seize the Xmas number one throne we’ll eat our helmets. Erm…

So much for the latecoming assault from Crimbo candidates Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City and Prince of Persia, eh? In the event neither even made the top ten let alone troubled Treyarch’s quality wartime blaster - they only reached 18 and 22 respectively.

Meanwhile the rest of today’s countdown is the usual mix of all too familiar faces, this week including the minor promotion of Fallout 3 back in at six - no doubt helped by that irresistibly cheap promo at Gamestation - plus Mario & Sonic at nine and WWE Smackdown 2009 at ten. After that it’s interesting to note the relegation of Wii Music at 15 (’cos it’s rubbish) and Pro Evo 2009, which has plummeted from six to 20 while its main rival, FIFA 09, remains fixed at three.

But enough blather. Here’s how it all breaks down for the week ending December 6th:

1. Call of Duty: World at War (1)
2. Mario Kart Wii (4)
3. FIFA 09 (3)
4. Need For Speed: Undercover (2)
5. Tomb Raider: Underworld (5)
6. Fallout 3 (11)
7. Wii Fit (10)
8. Guitar Hero: World Tour (7)
9. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (12)
10. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2009 (16)
