Super Mario fans have much to look forward to over the next few months, what with New Super Mario Bros. Wii arriving November 20 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 lining up for a March 2010 release. But Nintendo isn’t stopping the plumber-related fun n’ games there. Heck no, they’re working on a brand new, completely unknown Mario game right now... This revelation arrives via the magic of Twitter, where one Charles Martinet excitedly informs his many followers: “Mama Mia I'm going to Seattle this week to record a new Mario game! Woo Hooo! I can hardly wait” And then, just this weekend: “Awesome new Mario Game! And it's not NSMB Wii, and it's not Galaxy 2, but it's going to be crazy fun!” And who is Charles Martinet? Well, he is none other than the voice of Super Mario himself. In other words, short of Shigeru Miyamoto making a formal announcement at Nintendo’s E3 keynote address, this is about as reliable a confirmation as you could hope for. So that’s great news – particularly if it takes the whole Mazza franchise in new and interesting directions. Are any of you brave enough to take a guess at what’s in store? Whatever the case, pleeease don’t let it be Mario Party #9…!
