30 Ferraris and 28 Porsches join a roster of over 400 desirable motors in Forza Motorsport 3. Is it possible to have too much of a good thing? That’ll be a definite ‘no’, which is fortunate since Forza 3 is surely packed to the pistons with more motoring quality than your ever likely to find a stick long enough to shake at. If, er, that makes sense. So, 400 shiny autos, and they’re all yours to customise, paint and tune until they’re only fit for the local supermarket carpark cruise. The embarrassment of Porsches and Ferraris aside, the line-up also includes supercars that, we're assured, have not been seen in racing games until now – the Aston Martin DBS, Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR and the 2009 Acura ARX ALMS race car to name but three. There are 100 in-game tracks to race them on too. But, as if that wasn’t enough, there’s a freebie car and track pack incoming. Free for those of you buying the full game, that is – every new copy of Forza 3 includes a token card unlocking the ‘Motorsports Legends Car Pack’, comprising the following hand-picked motors: ’65 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Add to that a couple of extra tracks – the Benchmark High Speed Ring and the Sidewinder Proving Grounds. The former is an aircraft hangar, converted for maximum automotive mayhem, including an eight-lane drag strip and a 3.96 mile rough-surfaced racing oval. It sounds ace, and there’s loads more to be seen and read at the game’s official site – forzamotorsport.net. Forza 3 launches October 23rd, with the Motorsports Legends pack following four days later. All very nice, we’re sure, but where-oh-where is the Austin Allegro in all this? Cruelly overlooked, once again, that’s where! Tch...
