EA is getting creative over the innards of a just-announced Galactic Edition of the ultimate ‘God Game’ from that Sims chap, Will Wright.

As limited editions go, Spore Galactic Edition is quite a hamper of scientific delights. It will set you back an additional £5 but for this you receive a Making of Spore DVD, a National Geographic DVD containing “How to Build a Better Being,” The Art of Spore hardback mini-book, poster, and 100-page Galactic Handbook. And a lot less shelf space thereafter.

Spore will arrive on 5 September with versions for PC, Mac, Nintendo DS and mobile phones. The regular edition is £39.99, which must make the Galactic Edition (…two…three... four…) £44.99.
