Insomniac Games has revealed that the demo they’re planning for Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time is so big they’ve had to split it in two.

This welcome news comes via the official Insomniac podcast (www.insomniacgames.com/podcast/podcast.php) in which community manager James Stevenson announces:

“There are going to be what looks like two downloadable demos. Originally there was going to be one that had a Ratchet level and a Clank level, but it really got too big for people to download easily.”

“So it sounds like there will be two demos. One will be the Ratchet demo and one will be the Clank demo. So that'll be fun.”

No further release date details are forthcoming, although Stevenson says the demos will arrive before the game launches. That’s October 27th in the States and a brief shufty at various online retailers indicates the 30th in the UK, although this is still unconfirmed. Either way it seems like we’ll be getting them both soon. Can’t wait!
