Hardcore Street Fighter IV gee…, sorry, aficianados have just discovered a new, completely indefensible and apparently infinite combo loop in the game. Oh dear. If you value your reputation as a player of great skill and zen-like dexterity, look away now. If, on the other hand, winning at any cost is all that counts this one’s going to be right up your strasse, chief. There are a few caveats to consider first, though. The killer kombo in kwestion only works with chopsocky specialist Fei Long, which means you’ll need to unlock him before you can try this out. Secondly it only works against either Seth or Abel. And thirdly it’ll take a little skillage to pull off. Other than all that it’s a puddle of piddle: Simply perform a standing Hard Punch, cancel it into a Flying Kick and repeat ad infinitum, or until your beleaguered opponent punches you in the face. The skill bit comes in getting the timing right for the Hard Punch following the Flying Kick, thus a little time spent in the practice room is probably advisable before trying it out on a proper adversary. And that‘s all there is to it - just two basic moves, but combine them at your peril. And if such cheese-eating tactics are your bag, look out for similarly whiffy (but apparently trickier) routines from Ken and El Fuerte. Don‘t get too used to any of them, though, as Capcom is rumoured to be crafting a patch to fix them all as part of the forthcoming Championship Expansion Pack. Until that arrives, well, fill yer boots…
