PS3 gamers looking forward to downloading Warhawk from the PlayStation Network Store next Tuesday are going to find themselves looking a little further forward than was originally planned.

Yup, in what is becoming true Sony fashion the game has been delayed. Not long, mind you, but delayed nonetheless. So, instead of arriving on the 28th, as we were told, Warhawk will now launch on Thursday the 30th - Thursday’s being the usual days for Playstation Store updates, as we’re assured. While that may be true enough it doesn’t alter our disappointment or the fact that Sony should have checked such facts before making such announcements in the first place. Ach!

But 48 hours isn’t too long to wait for what promises to be a fantastic online gaming experience. Of course the three week wait between Warhawk's online launch and the more fulsome, Bluetooth headset-equipped retail release is another perplexing matter entirely…
