Branded entertainment ahoy! Electronic Arts has just announced plans to launch an ‘EA Sports Complex’ within Playstation Home, arriving this spring.

EA has been working with Sony in the creation of its first foray into Home and the new space reckons to have a broad enough appeal to attract both casual and hardcore gamers. The Complex itself will offer exclusive multiplayer content, online leaderboards, EA Sports trailers as well as providing a forum for general sporting chit-chat. Sounds cool.

But all of that is merely for starters - Home is still in its Beta phase, after all. As such you can look forward to more support and content announcements in the near future. Meantime check out the neat video we’ve just posted to get a better idea what’s going on.
