EA’s forthcoming Wii sing and dance ‘em up, Boogie Superstar, has Natasha Bedingfield as its official spokeperson. So what are you expecting the tracklist to feature – booming gangsta rap and Norwegian Black Metal?

Alas no. Instead Boogie Superstar ploughs an altogether fluffier furrow of pop-tastic rump-shakers that a cynic might say have been selected with the sole purpose of targeting an audience of undiscerning teenage girls. Gameplay-wise there doesn’t seem to be much difference between this game and the previous outing – a bundled motion-sensitive microphone being your passport to disco glory. That being the case why, we wonder, is 'Tasha waving a Wiimote around? Maybe she’s planning the throw it through the screen?
