Xbox.com has just published new pics for the forthcoming Grand Theft Auto IV expansion pack - “The Lost and Damned.” Check ‘em out. Doth they not rock?

Verily they do, friends, and we’ll fight anyone who dares to suggest otherwise. Meanwhile there’s also a bit of official blurb to accompany the new pics. Thus:

“Developed by series creator Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, Grand Theft Auto IV The Lost and Damned features a new main character, Johnny Klebitz, and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music—all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.”

Did that tell you anything you didn’t know already? Probably not, but it bears repeating in the name of generating a bit of excitement - y'see the new DLC pack is scheduled for a February release and it‘s just the first in a series of exclusive extra gameplay chapters. Read that and weep, Sony fans…
