Rockstar Games’ critically acclaimed but publicly unsung Nintendo DS game goes cruising for Sony’s handheld this autumn. The cool touch-screen gameplay of the Nintendo DS version will be gone, but the great dialogue and unmistakably GTA missions should remain intact for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for PSP and PSP go. Owners of latter console can take advantage of its storage capabilities and download the full game from PlayStation Network. Regular PSP die-hards can choose between the UMD or download – provided you have a big enough memory stick under the hood. To make up for the lack of DS-style funk, Chinatown Wars on PSP will have up-scaled wide-screen graphics, enhanced lighting and animation, and all-new story missions. Wish we could show you the game, but we suspect it’s still early in the development stage. Anyway, there’s plenty of time for a peep show between now and the back end of the year. Here's a pic of the DS version to keep you h-hot.
