Addictive personalities will always find an outlet, and who could resist the alluring appeal of a quick session on the Wii?
Certainly not former alcoholic and crybaby hero of England’s Italia 90 campaign, Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne. The fella’s currently recovering from a hip operation and is apparently spending hours in his £240 a night Newcastle hotel room playing Wii Sports and taking on all comers, including hapless hotel staff. Just let him win and back quietly out of the room, guys.
We can’t blame Gazza for his current obsession, really - Wii Sports gets you like that. Doubtless the physical exertions involved in boxing, bowling, tennis etc will help in his recuperation too, providing he doesn’t do himself any Wiimote-related mischief. But there are certainly more physically beneficial games out there - Wii Fit for starters. There are better games to feed his addictive tendencies too.
We can name our favourite poison, but what’s yours? And what do you think is the best game to keep dear old Gazza entertained?
