Hail to Major Nelson, and his announcing excellent Xbox 360 demos prowess. Or something. Anyway, fix-up/look sharp, a brand new and fully-playable sampler of FIFA 10 has just arrived on Xbox LIVE and we just know you’re going to want to play it. Yeah? This year’s game introduces a number of enhancements over last year’s outing too. As EA’s boastful blurb has it, things have been improved based on feedback from 275 million online games played – i.e. eat that, PES 2010! But back to those improvements - gamers can look forward to a breadth of new defensive and offensive options, an all-new 360º dribbling mechanic, smarter defenders, cleverer goalies and on-pitch argy-bargy – all apparently making FIFA 10 “the most complete simulation of football to date”. Yeah, well EA says pretty much the same thing every year. Nevertheless each iteration of FIFA seems better than the last, and the 09 game was a veritable stonker. With that in mind footy fans should be checking the demo out with extreme prejudice EA’s generously chucked in six of the world’s top teams to play with too. Nice!
