The Zen-cool ‘New Xbox Experience’ is all very nice, but what about all those themes you’ve spent your hard-earned Points on?

Fortunately Xbox Live’s Major Nelson is here to ease your fears, and with a fistful of screens demonstrating how such things will integrate in the various areas of the jazzy new dashboard too. Check out the pics.

It all looks rather neat, doesn’t it? Subtle, not tacky or overdone, but certainly a bit more overtly games-y than it was all looking the other day, which is surprisingly comforting. We guess that new-style themes will launch when the NXE itself arrives this autumn. Meantime we learn that all your old themes will still work just as well with the new system, so no need to bin ‘em all in a fit of pique beforehand.

So how you like it now? We like a lot!
