Does the US gaming retail behemoth Gamestop know something that we don’t? We’ve no idea, but in advance of any official word from Nintendo the company obviously feels confident enough to list the price and release dates of a number of Wii-related goodies. Here’s a sample of what they’re offering:

• Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess $59.99, ships 1/11/06
• Super Smash Bros: Brawl, $59.99, ships 1/11/06
• Super Mario Galaxy $59.99, ships 15/11/06
• Wii Sports, $59.99, ships 1/12/06
• Pilotwings, $59.99, ships 1/12/06
• Duck Hunt, $59.99, ships 30/3/07
• Wario Ware: Smooth Moves £59.99, ships 30/3/07

And the list goes on to include a number of third party accessories such as a 1.0GB memory card, also launching on November 1st for $59.99 (or 512MB for $39.99), and assorted travel case/game wallet-type things.

Rubbish (probably) add-ons aside, we don’t dare to hope that what seems to be suggested here is true – around £32 for a game and what appears to be a Wii launch date of November 1st!? We won’t have long to wait to find out, though – as we reported earlier in the week Nintendo is planning a series of events across the globe next week in which lucky journos like us (sorry) will get Wii on our hands all over again and in which Nintendo is set to make a number of significant announcements. Roll on next Friday!
