Valve is offering pretty much its entire back catalogue of 22 PC games for download through the Steam network for the crazy-knockdown price of 99 US Dollars. Can’t be bad… Indeed not, since the “Valve Complete Pack”, as it’s unambiguously titled, stretches to include the contents of the recent - and still brilliant - Orange Box (Half Life 2 + episodes 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal) as well as the just released team-based zombie shoot ‘em up Left 4 Dead. The rrp for the latter item alone accounts for nearly half the price of this bundle of goodness. Nicely! And even moreso since the regular price of all items bought separately would be more like $235. Add to the above a trio of Counterstrikes, Team Fortress #1, the massively addictive Peggle Extreme, the original Half Life and more multiplayer blastathons than you can shake a stick at and, heck, it really is an offer you shouldn’t even consider refusing. Top stuff. Head over to http://store.steampowered.com/sub/1134 for the complete list of 22 games and for purchasing info.
