More Batman: Arkham Asylum goodies for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network today – and at precisely nought cost to your good selves.

The ominous-sounding ‘Prey in the Darkness’ map pack contains a pair of Challenge Maps. The aptly-named ‘Heart of Darkness’ arena pits the bravest players against wave after unrelenting wave of asylum inmates who are storming the Arkham Pumping Station with a single objective in mind – Kill The Batman. Freeflow Combat skills to the fore on this one.

Next-up ‘Hothouse Prey’ requires skilful use of all Batman’s stealthiest Invisible Predator abilities in order to silently and permanently take down the bad guys at the Abandoned Glasshouse. A shattering experience for all concerned, no doubt.

So that’s two more to add to the pile, the ‘Insane Night’ Map Pack launching this time just seven days ago. Fingers crossed Eidos/Warner Bros. Interactive have more up their sleeves for next week too. Or are all these freebies just buttering us up for some costly premium download that’s, ahem, waiting in the wings...?
