Media Molecule’s excellent LittleBigPlanet is currently in development for the Playstation Portable. That’s great news, for sure, and better still since it apparently shares the three key selling points of its bigger brother: "There is a whole play, create, share component to the game, just like the PS3," Sony Computer Entertainment’s director of hardware marketing, John Koller, tells Kotaku.com at the recent Destination Playstation event in the States. Koller also reveals that the development team is presently examining ways that PSP LBP could connect to the Playstation 3 version - maybe creating levels in one game to play in the other. Such a feature would be cool beyond all reckoning, however, as Koller reveals, no firm decision has been made about connectivity yet. Either way PSP LBP is bound to be a smash when it launches later this year. Incredibly, though, it seems that the game is just one of many blockbusters destined for the platform. Over to you Mr. K: "At Destination Playstation we announced about half of the line up for the PSP this year, some fairly major, triple-A titles are coming for the back half of the year that are going to be announced in the coming months and at E3. LittleBigPlanet is going to be one of the top three but a number of others that are coming are just as big." Just as big, he says. We’re intrigued and duly excited. But what are the other two games in the top 3 he‘s talking about? Any guesses…?
