Two pieces of news for fans of LittleBigPlanet - and that's all of you, right?

Firstly developers Media Molecule have confirmed that in-game narration will be courtesy of the reliably avuncular Steven Fry - he of Jeeves and Wooster, QI and Harry Potter audiobook fame. We had no idea there was any narration involved in the game and there's still no information where and how it's going to integrate. Nevertheless we reckon Fry, with his quirky actorly tones, is an ideal candidate for the job so we look forward to hearing the results. Apparently he's got a part in Fable II too.

Elsewhere there's encouraging evidence that the Little game's Big release is drawing ever nearer, incredible as that may seem. Sony is taking the game on the road as part of 'The Playstation Experience'. This aptly named promotional tour takes in a number of US festivals over the summer and really majors on SingStar and Rock band, both of which are bound to go down very well. However LBP is there too, and is fully playable by all accounts. Fingers crossed Sony UK has similar promo plans in the pipeline, eh? Ach, we can dream, can't we?
