360 users may have noticed a number of ‘issues’ since Xbox LIVE arrived back online after Tuesday’s maintenance downtime. Rest assured it’s all being sorted out, says the Major... The problems, although small, will be a frustration for gamers looking to buy content from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, some of which simply won’t be available for the time being – the new Sam & Max game is a prime example. It’s not a great re-start for the service, although work is underway to get it all fixed-up, and pronto: “I want to let you know that the LIVE engineers are actively engaged and working on getting this resolved as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience,” says Xbox blogger-in-chief Major Nelson, meekly. Well, don’t shoot the messenger, and all that. In any case the most important component of Xbox LIVE – i.e. online gaming – is still in fine working order. On top of that the ‘My Xbox’ page has been given a nifty New Xbox Experience-styled makeover in spite of MS assuring us that there would be no discernable service updates. Be sure to check it out next time you’re perusing Xbox.com.
