Street Fighter IV goes Platinum [X360]

Friday October 2, 12:03 PM Street Fighter IV goes Platinum

Excellent news for grapple fans, particularly those who have not yet enjoyed the manifold and unbridled delights of Street Fighter IV – the game is getting a Platinum Hits release on Xbox 360.

This is all unconfirmed by Capcom at the moment. No matter, though, since all is (unwittingly) unveiled on the relevant US Xbox.com game detail page, complete with box art. Sweet.

Price and release details are absent, alas. However Platinum Hits games typically sell for £19.99 and we imagine that Capcom will want to get this one out in time for Xmas, and before they launch Super Street Fighter IV next spring.

Speaking of which, Capcom has just unleashed a brand new gameplay trailer which shows returning old faces T. Hawk and Dee-Jay in bruising action. Also new girl Juri, who licks her lips devilishly before opening up a mighty can of whup-ass – awesome stuff.

Rest assured that we’re processing the video as quickly as our rubber band-powered technology allows and will post shortly. Likewise we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as Microsoft or Capcom makes with a date.
