Natacha Gachnang is the European Face for Forza Motorsport 3; charmingly ushering in the realistic racing game expected October on Xbox 360.

The first ever female driver to race the FIA Formula Two Championships, Natacha Gachnang, has been signed up to promote Forza Motorsport 3 for Xbox 360. Swiss born Gachnang (21), cousin of F1 driver Sébastien Buemi, also served as consultant on the game underway in Seattle with Microsoft developers Turn 10.

According to Xbox the customisation and tuning elements were of particular interest to Gachnang who enjoyed using these to create her own car. She also has this to offer, right on cue: “What a buzz – the tracks, the cars, the handling – the attention to detail is incredible. Forza 3 is a car fans dream! It really feels like I’m right there, in the car, racing round the tracks, all in the comfort of my own living room!”

Her living room looks great too by the way.

Turn 10 and Microsoft Studios, Game Director Dan Greenawalt, dutifully pronounces: “From a pro driver like Natacha to anyone who has a passion for cars, Forza Motorsport 3 has something for everyone.”

We like Natacha a lot, if only because she lists heliskiing as one of her favourite hobbies. We think we saw Croc Wrestling on there too. And she looks good posing on a windowsill next to an Xbox 360 Elite. Is that really what Natacha wears beneath her overalls? Go-faster pumps - nice!
