Lucidity and South Park for XBLA [X360]

Tuesday October 6, 01:23 PM Lucidity and South Park for XBLA

Two-up for Xbox LIVE Arcade this week. Both highly decent too, with a special treat for potty-mouthed strategists.

Firstly ‘South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play’ is, as the title suggests, a tower defence game featuring all your favourites from the South Park cast. Fast armament-emplacing action for players of all abilities is promised, along with unlockable special content for your in-game scrapbook, extra characters, four-player on/offline gameplay and comedy snowball weaponry a go-go. Should be a hoot for 800 MS Points.

Next up ‘Lucidity’ from LucasArts and the team behind the recent XBLA retro-smash, The Secret of Monkey Island. It’s a platform/puzzler with storybook visuals and a pleasingly plinky-plonky soundtrack. It’s gentle but deceptively fiendish stuff and an unmissable barg at 800 MS Points (£6.80).

More of this sort of thing please, Microsoft.
