Over one million gamers have signed up to Metal Gear Online since Guns of the Patriots launched on PS3 back in June this year, and Konami is planning a special treat to say thanks to its loyalists.

As of November 25th and running until December 9th Konami will be hosting the “Metal Gear Online: Commemorative Campaign”. Sign in or sign up to the 16 player blast-fest that is MGO during the promotional period and you’ll be rewarded with 10,000 Points to spend on new goodies in the in-game reward shop. But the gratitude doesn’t end there. Players taking part in the promotion may be lucky enough to be selected as one of 30 gamers worldwide (10 each from Europe, USA and Japan) to receive a whopping 100,000 Point bonus. Good luck to you if you can think of a way to squander such riches, but winners will be notified on December 16th. We guess you can work the odds out for yourselves.
