A quick one to, ahem, kick-off a wet Wednesday morning - Microsoft has unveiled European national team ‘sports shirts’ for Xbox LIVE avatars. How cool is that?

Well, ‘very’ or ‘not much’, depending on your viewpoint, nationality or access to Xbox LIVE. Either way it’s blogmeister supreme Major Nelson breaking the news, who tells us that the shirts are free and will remain available in the Avatar Editor forever more. Your sartorial choices are as follows:

Bit of a shame for European nationals outside of the XBL family, but what they’ve never had etc. Everyone else fill yer boots…
